2014 Warriors’ Reunion & 3rd Annual Judy Sowinski Memorial Old-Timers’ Game

The NATIONAL ROLLER DERBY HALL OF FAME will host its 2014 WARRIORS' REUNION and Third Annual JUDY SOWINSKI MEMORIAL OLD-TIMERS' GAME on November 7 & 8 in Philadelphia. The weekend's festivities, in association with PENN JERSEY ROLLER DERBY, will WELCOME former SKATERS & FANS to CELEBRATE Roller Games East & the legendary PHILADELPHIA WARRIORS FRANCHISE. Fans and skaters from all over the country are invited to join in the celebration. On Saturday afternoon, Nov. 8 at the PJRD Warehouse (1801 W. Indiana Ave.), former skaters will compete in the Third-Annual JUDY SOWINSKI Memorial HOF Old-Timers' GAME, a SPECIAL EIGHT PERIOD GAME, plus MATCH RACES. Legendary stars of the banked track sport, including Hall-of-Famers, along with current pros will compete with the newest stars of the game.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. No one will be turned away if they are unable to purchase tickets. The National Roller Derby Hall of Fame & Museum celebrates the greatest names in the sport while preserving its history. Established in 1952, the NRD HOF was reopened in New York City in 2004 and celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year! Penn Jersey Roller Derby is a co-ed league that skates both flat track & banked track Roller Derby. JUDY SOWINSKI, the late great Roller Derby Hall-of-Famer, was Head Coach of PJRD. This is the sixth time the HOF & PJRD has hosted a celebration together.
