Joni and Friends Family Camp June 1, 2011 Dear Family and Friends, It is that time of year again to register for Joni and Friends camp for the disabled. This will be my eighth year serving and I love the opportunity God gives me each year to love on so many awesome children and adults. They are called disabled, but I've learned that they, like us are just "differently abled". It is a blessing to know that each one of us has something to give; a smile, a helping hand, a word of encouragement - little things really do mean a lot. Each year I go to give, but I always come away filled with more of His love. On July 18th I will join hundreds of others around the country to serve at the Family Camp in Scotts Valley, California. All of us who serve at camp must pay a fee which not only covers our expenses, but also goes toward helping provide scholarships for the families affected by disabilities. So I am writing to ask for your help to go to camp this year.
